Content Approvals
The Approvals workflow lets team admins and managers review content created by team members before it goes live.
Overview
Navigate to Approvals to see all posts pending review.
How It Works
- Team member creates a post and submits for approval
- Post appears in the Approval Queue
- Reviewer (admin/manager) reviews the post
- Reviewer approves or rejects with feedback
- If approved, post is ready for publishing
- If rejected, creator receives feedback and can revise
Approval Queue
The queue shows all pending posts in a card grid:
- Post preview: See the full content and any attached media
- Author: Who created the post
- Submitted date: When it was submitted for review
- Pending count: Badge showing total awaiting review
Reviewing Posts
Approving a Post
- Review the content carefully
- Click Approve
- Confirm the action
- Post moves to scheduled/draft status and is ready for publishing
Rejecting a Post
- If content needs changes, click Reject
- Enter feedback explaining what needs to be fixed
- The creator receives your feedback
- They can revise and resubmit
Empty State
When all posts are reviewed, you'll see "All caught up! No posts waiting for review."
Best Practices
- Review promptly — Check the queue daily to avoid bottlenecks
- Provide specific feedback — When rejecting, explain exactly what to fix
- Set expectations — Let your team know the approval criteria
- Use for quality control — Ensure brand voice consistency
Who Can Approve?
Users with these roles can access the Approvals page:
- Admin: Full access
- Manager: Can approve/reject
Regular team members submit content for approval but cannot review others' work.
