Overview

The Analytics Dashboard provides comprehensive insights into your social media performance across all connected platforms. Access it from the main navigation menu under Analytics.

Dashboard Sections

Overview Dashboard

The main analytics view shows key metrics and performance indicators.

Key Metrics Cards

  • Total Followers: Combined follower count across all platforms

    • Shows percentage change from previous period
    • Green indicator for growth, red for decline
  • Impressions: Total content views across all posts

    • Indicates reach and visibility
  • Avg. Engagement Rate: Percentage of impressions that resulted in engagement

    • Industry benchmark: 1-5% is typical, >5% is excellent
  • Link Clicks: Total clicks on links in your content

    • Useful for measuring traffic and conversions

Follower Growth Chart

Line chart showing follower count over time.

  • Time Range: Adjust using the date picker (Last 7/30/90 days)
  • Trend Line: Smooth curve shows overall growth trajectory
  • Hover: See exact follower count for any date

Stacked bar chart breaking down engagement types.

  • Likes: Blue bars - most common engagement type
  • Comments: Green bars - higher-intent engagement
  • Shares: Orange bars - highest-value virality indicator
  • Use Case: Identify which content types drive which engagement types

How to Read the Heatmap

  • X-Axis: Hours of the day (0-23, or 12am-11pm)
  • Y-Axis: Days of the week (Sunday-Saturday)
  • Color Intensity: Darker blue = better engagement historically
  • Hover: See exact engagement score and post count for each time slot

Recommendations List

Below the heatmap, see the top 10 best times ranked by score:

  1. Day and time
  2. Engagement score (0-100)
  3. Number of posts analyzed
  4. Average engagement per post

Tips

  • Minimum 5 posts per time slot required for statistical validity
  • More recent posts (last 30 days) weighted more heavily
  • Results update weekly to adapt to audience changes

Platform Comparison

Filters and Controls

Date Range Picker

  • Last 7 Days: Quick view of recent performance
  • Last 30 Days: Standard monthly view (default)
  • Last 90 Days: Quarterly trends
  • Custom Range: Select any start and end date

Platform Filter

  • All Platforms: Combined view (default)
  • Individual Platforms: Filter to LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • Use to identify platform-specific trends

Export Button

Download current view as CSV for external analysis:

  • Exports raw data for selected date range
  • Includes all metrics in tabular format
  • Useful for client reports or presentations

Understanding Your Metrics

Impressions vs. Reach

  • Impressions: Total views (each person can view multiple times)
  • Reach: Unique people who saw your content
  • Ratio: Impressions/Reach shows average views per person
    • Ratio > 1.5 indicates strong resonance (shared, saved, re-viewed)

Engagement Rate Formula

Engagement Rate = (Likes + Comments + Shares) / Impressions × 100

Benchmarks by Platform:

  • LinkedIn: 2-5%
  • Instagram: 3-6%
  • Twitter: 0.5-2%
  • Facebook: 1-3%

Follower Growth Patterns

  • Linear Growth: Steady, predictable growth (healthy)
  • Exponential Growth: Viral content or campaign success
  • Plateau: Content or posting frequency adjustment needed
  • Decline: Review content quality and posting consistency

Best Practices

Daily Monitoring

  • Check overview cards for unexpected changes
  • Look for sudden spikes or drops (investigate root cause)
  • Monitor engagement rate trends (quality over quantity)

Weekly Analysis

  • Review best times heatmap and adjust posting schedule

Troubleshooting

No Data Showing

  • Check Date Range: Ensure you have published content in the selected period
  • Platform Connection: Verify social accounts are connected and active
  • Permission: Ensure you have analytics read permission
  • Sync Delay: Analytics data updates daily at 2 AM UTC

Metrics Seem Inaccurate

  • Platform Delays: Some platforms take 24-48 hours to finalize metrics
  • Timezone Differences: All times displayed in your account timezone
  • Sampling: High-volume accounts may show sampled data from platforms

Missing Platforms

  • Only platforms with analytics capability enabled show data
  • Ensure accounts are connected with analytics permissions
  • Some platforms require business/creator accounts for analytics
